Dan Flynn has had the opportunity to spend some time in the Bengkulu province of Sumatra testing the updated Aloha Bean, the feedback has been great and we are stoked to have this truly versatile board from Aloha in our range.
The main change for the Bean this year is the addition of a few sizes, we have removed the 6’3 and replaced this size with a 6’2 and 6’4!
The 6’2 is 20 1/2 wide 2 1/2 inches thick and has 33 liters of volume while the 6’4 is 20 5/8 wide by 2 9/16 inches thick and has 36 liters of volume.
The above additions provide a more well rounded size range for this amazing board that is versatile in such a wide variety of surf conditions! For further information on the full size range read more here.
In the video below Dan visits Enggano Island off the south west coast of Sumatra which is largely an untouched paradise when it comes to visitors. Located in the Bengkulu province of Sumatra.
